Note: waterjet nozzle is also known as mixing tube. This is because the abrasive is mixed and accelerated inside this nozzle. The common length of nozzle is 3 inches. But there is also 4 inch long nozzle available. With this additional 1 inch length, some people believe the abrasive gets accelerated more and the jet is more focused when exiting the nozzle. As a result, the cutting speed is improved.
