Tire Cutting Machine with CNC Waterjet

Tire is often made of rubber and steel beed bundle and other materials. Usually, the cutting tools that are suitable to cut rubber are not good at cutting steel. Similarly the common methords to cut steel are not right for cutting rubber. Waterjet is a cold cutting tool that is good for cutting metal or non-metal materials. High pressure water jet mixed with abrasive garnet is very strong to cut steel and rubber. During waterjet cutting, the process does not yield large mount of heat so that it will not burn the rubber and produce smell.

There are several applications that we need to cut tires:

1. We need to cut out the cross section of a tire to inspect the quality during production of tire.

2. We need to cut tires in order to repair it.

3. To cut large tires into smaller pierces for recycling.
